I wash my hair, dry, use a curling iron, style and spray with hairspray.

The next day, I touch up with curling iron.  The hairspray makes my hair stick to the curling iron - not good.

Can anyone recommend a good hairspray that will not stick to the curling iron?

I have used Sebastian Shaper + for years. Works on my fine limp hair along with hot rollers.

Another thing is to lower the heat on your curling iron.

Grandi's advise to lower the heat on you iron is a good place to start. I use Sukesha Hair Spray and love it, I've used it for many years.

It's the alcohol in the hairspray. I use Rusk Wireless spray

I have used Shaper for more than 30 years. The very best and I have tried many other suggestions. Nothing has ever compared...

Never, never use a curling iron on sprayed hair! Your hair can crack right off!

I usually brush thru my hair before using a curling iron or brush---seems to break down the hairspray. I have never had my hair crack off using a curling iron on hair with spray on it.

I use Sebastian Shaper hairspray, with or without hot tools and blow dryer. The thicker/heavier your hair, they have up to Fierce Hold for that. And they have Re-Shaper.
