I am taking the leap and trying the Hairmax "headband" for the 2nd time. I bought the original, but it was much too large for my head. Back it went.  I saw this months ago probably may or June) when Randy was on and he said it was adjustable. ( host comment that it was a new band and more flexible.  I've waited months for it to come back , as it was only available on wait list.  This is a better price so I'm hopeful.   Anyone have experience with this " newer " band?

I have no experience with newer brand but I faithfully used the original, hand held with the light, for a year.

I REALLY wanted it to work. It did nothing. I’ve stopped wishing and hoping and wear a very natural wig that looks terrific.

My area of balding was too large to start with, and I began losing my hair at age 12. During and immediately after pregnancy it returned and was lovely. I am 66 have chronic anemia and hypothyroidism.

I wish you all the luck, btw try Andrew Lessman’s nail, hair and skin vitamins it helped my dh hairloss- he’s 67 and has a glorious head of hair!

@pggoody  Did you read the reviews that are posted?  I just read them.....one review said   It was great....the others complained that the product was defective AND two people reported that the adjustability part  of the band did not work.  I do not think it sounds like a good value?

I have the head band one.  It really is not adjustable.  It will balance on your head nicely so you don't have to hold it.  I got mine about the 20th of August and have used it faithfully but seen no results yet after 3 months.  I have 180 days to decide whether to return and if I don't see results soon it will go back.

I am considering it also. I had shedding the first month of July when I was in the hospital. My hairdresser said my hair is coming in nicely.

It's only supposed to work on male pattern baldness. At seventy three I have had male pattern baldness, which the Hairmax is supposed to help.

They recommend using Rogaine, but when I did I got facial hair that I know have to deal with years later.

There are very few reviews on this model.

@pggoody

I wanted to take the leap but not sure and read ALL reviews all over Google.

Something at this price point (has to have a 3 month return) maybe it does - I think it may.

But it had better fit the head!

I don't like the idea of moving that thing around my head every few seconds.

I'd rather the entire head-cap helmet thing they sold.

Wonder if that is still available? Either way... reviews make me highly skeptical.

I believe there is a 6-month return policy for the Hairmax. Woman Happy @mimi5775
