The vendor puts the wig on a very small head/bust. It's not fair . It doesn't show the wig to it's true style. And QVC also has a small head/bust on it's demo. I wish the models or hosts would not cover up with their hands the wig as they are demonstrating on their own heads don't be shy. Just leave your hands to down and turn your head to the side and also show us the back.

I don't remember host holding their hands to their heads when trying on wigs.

Strangely it doesn't appear as if any QVC channels or HSN had wigs presented today.

@Mz iMac, head scratcher for sure.

Not to hijack your thread, but does anyone have a wig brand they like? and look real?  I would love to have one---ordered here years ago, but had to return. Thank you.

Just before I started chemo in 2012, my DD and SIL and I went out to lunch and then went to a local wig shop so I could get a wig for my upcoming bald days(months)---found THE prefect dream style in my haircolor. the owner styled it for me too and would have even trimmed it up if I wanted. It looked GREAT!!.  Felt good too. So maybe go there. Now I couldn't return that wig like you can from online. Think I spent about $125. I donated it to the hospital cancer store when I was done--kind of wish I kept it tho.

@pietook   Wagirl is absolutly correct.  Go to your "local" wig shop/store for a "correct" fitting.

PERSONAL OPINION:  The ONLY wigs that look real are the ones made from horse or human hair.  The rest looks like doll hair.

@Mz iMac --I have to say that while the wigs I got-- and there were 3---  did not look fake at all. Looked as real as my own hair, actually much better in fact. Now that is not saying some of them CAN look like doll hair --I've seen a few--but I think it depends on the style and the cut. Also mine felt real too. Now they were all short styles too. I think the long flowing wigs are more likely to look fake.
