I will be going to a new stylist and he said he does not use a regular dryer (the kind you sit under while processing) with hair color (highlighting in my case) but he does use a steamer because he says it make the color more shiny and it is gentler on the hair. I've heard of using a steamer when doing a deep conditioner but never with hair color. Does anyone's stylist use this with their color? Any experiences, positive or negative, appreciated! Thanks.
