I started losing my hair about 4 years ago but I didn't think anything of it because it wasn't that much. Last year it really started to become noticeable (my thyroid and labs are fine), so I started to look into different options. I decided to try Rogaine 5% foam that I purchased through Amazon and I am thrilled with the results. After a month I wasn't sure if anything was happening. After 2 months it felt like my hair felt a little thicker when washing it. I still wasn't sure if it was enough for me to continue using. I'm so glad I took before and after pics. Here they are.

Just wanted to share my experience and hope this helps anyone suffering with hair loss.

BTW I stared using this in February this year and have been applying it once a day faithfully.

That's awesome, @Tsukiko!  Does it make your hair greasy or do you have to wash it daily?

Good for you!  Do you have to keep using it?  But amazing results you got.

@JeanLouiseFinch I wash my hair every other day, I used to wash it everyday. I did experiment in the beginning to see how long I could hold off washing it and 3 days was it for me. My hair was a greasy mess but I should add that my hair is very fine and normally gets oily after one day. Also I sweat a lot when working out.

@Sooner @Yes, my understanding is that once you stop using it will go back to the way it was before.

@Tsukiko

That's amazing!  I'm glad to know something out there works and doesn't break the bank.  I've been having some hair loss but I know it's due to not taking thyroid.  I'm back on it now.  Sigh.  I hate this stuff!

I had a Dermatologist tell me the same thing when I asked him about using it years ago.

He had told me that once you start using it, you have to keep using it in order to keep seeing the benefits of using it.

He also told me that if you get it anywhere else on your face when applying it, to wipe if off immediately or you will start to grow hair where you don't want it to grow.

Your thinning looks exactly like mine.  I tried the Max hair and it did nothing so I guess I might have to try this.  Thanks for posting.
