Hair loss from thyroid condition. Will it grow back eventually?

Hi. I am having a heck of a time with my thyroid. Seems it takes months for my meds to get regulated. I'm worrying about my hair big time. If the doctor gets it right (medicine dosage) will my hair re-group?
