I got thoroughly reamed out for my opinion that Mary Beth Roe needs to update her hair style. As an aside, she wore it up one day on a jewelry show. I thought she had cut it, and my first thought was how great she looked with it shorter. It took YEARS off her look.
I am not going to revisit that, but have noticed comments about a couple other hosts (over 40), and the opinion they would look better with shorter hair.
How about that 60 year old WEN model? Her hair is beautiful, but that long, middle parted hair looks awful on her. All it says is that she hasn't changed her style probably in 50 years!
MOST women (especially over 50 - and I am) look better in shorter hair. We all have to change things as we get older. I don't feel like I can wear black mascara, eyeliner, sparkly eyeshadow, etc. now.
Long hair CAN drag your face down and make it look "witchy." With some people, the look says outdated. The color and often length needs to change as we age.
If you have nice hair, it will still be nice somewhat shorter.
I will wait for the second set of attacks!
