I have a pixie hair cut with long bangs.  I am looking for a hair styling cream for AFTER my hair is dry.  I just want a little hold, but still movement.  There has to be something out there like this.  Years ago, I used Clairol Vita-Pointe, but  I'm wanting something newer.

I have tried numerous gels, pomades, waxes and pastes, but none of them give me the look and feel I want.  They are either sticky, dull looking, wet looking or greasy feeling.

Have you asked your stylist to recommend something for your hair & what you are looking for? I have much better look with her help than choosing my own.

My hair is very short and I use WEN's SixThirteen Ultra Nourishing Styling Creme. It gives my hair extra body and hold, but is not stiff or sticky and you can reapply it .

Hello, @Quinny. Smiley Happy

Nick Chavez makes a few products that might help. I'll list some of them below.

Nick Chavez Soft Flocker Stylng Cream 4 oz. Item # A89944

Nick Chavez Diva Showtime 4 oz. Weightless Pomade Duo Item # A284671

Nick Chavez also makes Featherlite Texturizing Cream, but that's sold on Nick's site.

ALL of these can be used on dry hair.

Bedhead Manipulator is a very good styling creme for short hair.

It can give you a spiky look or definition.

A little goes a loooong way.

Do you want a texturizer?   I have a  bunch of different products that I use.  I don't spray them on my  hair.  I spray it on my hands and then run my fingers through my hair to style.  These are some that I use on dry hair.

@Quinny

I use WEN Styling Cream 613 on my hair after it's dry.

It gives fluff, volume, and still MOVES!

Love it!

I use Wen 319 (fragrance free) Styling Cream and absolutely love it. But it doesn't give any hold. It feels more like a leave in conditioner which gives amazing shine and volume. I would suggest the matrix Root lifting spray. If they still make it, I used to use it for years when I had short hair. It gives hold without that hair spray/gel feel.
