I really like the short pixie cuts.  But you have to have a nice face and enhance your features with makeup.  I myself am aiming for a pixie bob.  I just don't have a hair stylist that I really trust to do a precise short haircut that would frame my face properly.

I have a oval shaped face. Hair dressers recommend pixies for me. Hmm. I like shoulder length so l can keep it up or down.

KatCat1,do your research of your area and really sit down for consultation. Talk and listen carefully before you go through with it. It takes a long time for a pixie to grow out.

Not in love with the first one.  It looks very "spaniel" like.

Sorry jellyBEAN, my words were meant for you. Just research like I said. I had a pixie and it was ok.
I also didn't even trim my hair for a year and six months. I will not do it again. I hope😌

Mine is similar to the bottom pic. Just a bit longer front top. I have a white streak and want to sow it off.

You really have to have the right bone structure & face for very short hair.  I don't so for me it will remain a medium length bob.

Love the third one.  My hair is far too fine and thin for it, though.  Plus, requires too much time at the hairdresser -- every three weeks or so -- to maintain it.

Pixie cuts are SO cute--but not for me.  I have big ears and a nose for days.  As @haddon9  wisely pointed out, you have to have right kind of face.  Since I retired, I just let my hair grow out long--in the hellfires that are Vegas summers, being able to wear it up saves lives and frayed nerves.
