I owe a HUGE thank you to those of you who recommend Buzz on Acne!!!! My daughter has been using it for a few months now, and her skin is almost flawless! I NEVER thought I would see the day! Seriously! She just turned 16 yesterday, and we have been dealing with her breakouts for a few years now. We have tried SO many things – different routines, different products, different prices, even that Tria thing. Buzz is the FIRST thing that has worked for her! I mean, her skin looks GREAT! We had brunch with my parents on Sunday, and my mom sat and looked at her for a few seconds like she was trying to figure something out and then said, “Your skin looks like its glowing!”
Not only is Buzz inexpensive, it is so simple. We have bought regimens that had numerous steps, which can be a pain and are easy for a kid to mess up or just skip altogether. Buzz is just ONE step that takes all of about 4 seconds! She has been using the liquid African Black Soap to wash her face before applying Buzz, but when that’s gone, I will get her some Cetaphil since that’s what Buzz recommends. Interestingly, a couple weeks ago I noticed that her complexion looked particularly good, and I told her so. She said, “That’s funny because I haven’t washed my face in like 3 days – I’ve just been spraying it with Buzz.” So I think all those months and years of using cleansers and toners and lotions with salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, etc was actually making things worse for her acneic skin. Simpler is definitely better -- at least for her.
I am so, so, so happy to have found Buzz on Acne, and it’s all thanks to this board! There are tons of various product reviews on here, but the main reason I decided to try Buzz is because of all the good reviews from ya’ll. There weren’t even mixed reviews – it was just all positive. I don’t think I have read a single negative thing about it, which is very telling, in my opinion. Only one person had said that it didn’t work as well for her as she had hoped, but she added that she has a deep cystic problem. I don’t have an acne problem, but I ended up buying a bottle for myself because I wanted to get that “glowy” look too and to fend off any potential breakouts for my sensitive skin.
My daughter and I are beyond pleased with her results! It pained me to see her struggle with acne, and I am grateful and relieved beyond words that we have FINALLY found something that works for her! I just wish we had found it sooner – I think she would have had more confidence the past few years if she had felt better about her skin. I would gladly pay $100+ for a bottle of Buzz – thank goodness it’s only about $25! A little seems to go a long way because my daughter is still on her first bottle. She must use it sparingly – or maybe I use too much – because her bottle is quite a bit fuller than mine, but she’s been using it longer than I have.
For anyone who has a teenager dealing with acne – or if you are dealing with it with your own skin – I highly recommend giving Buzz on Acne a try! You have to give it some time to work – a few weeks maybe – but it DOES work! (Let me add that my daughter had a moderate case of acne. By moderate, I mean that her whole face wasn’t covered, but she would always have about 10 or so pimples, almost always on her cheeks and chin, rarely on her nose or forehead. Her worst breakouts would be just before her period started.) I TRULY hope that this product never goes away because it has easily reached Holy Grail status in this household. As a mom, anything that boosts the way my daughter feels about herself is worth its weight in gold! If you or your child is suffering with acne, you MUST try Buzz on Acne!
