@SportyShorty07   Thank you for your kind reply. 😉 I am losing the yearn to travel.  I live alone and hard to arrange to travel and live three hours from MSP airport. I used to go once a year. I have a friend who travels all over the world often alone every couple of months. She lives in Tx. and is 82.

I go on Utube and there are many ideas. The contact lens case came from Travel Tips by Laurie. She is a Piolet's wife and frequent traveler. She also recommended Gold Bond Hand cream for diabetics as long lasting hand moisture for travel.  She has cosmetic case ideas and packing tips, cosmetics included. Many are reasonably priced choices. Sara Murdock is good and takes Rick Steve's tours. She uses a Bare Essential dry  makeup in powder with SPF avoiding those liquids as much as possible.

Some people don't want to travel without their tried and true favorites or have skin that may react. Samples work  fine for me. I have purchased travel kits but find I again may not use some of the items included, so a waste.

@Gorgf  Thank you for your kind reply Smiley Happy! I'm going to look up those people that your recommended from Youtube, thank you for listing their names and thank you for listing some great tips and tricks! I like tips on how to pack makeup for on the go- I like to touch up my makeup at the gym and when I'm out and about running errands or going for a long walk.

I have a gal pal who is in her late 60's and she travels all over the world on Princess cruises.  I'm glad that you've been able to travel to many places in the past and its good that your gal pal travels! Does she show you vacation photos? My gal pal jokes that she travels for me since she emails me all of her vacation photos eavh day.  I prefer it that way since I don't vacation or travel and haven't since I was little.

@beach-mom   Yes, plane travel is limiting when packing. Lately, DH and I prefer car travel except to my DD in Seattle, WA.

If I'm traveling to a destination just for fun and no one knows me (not like a wedding, etc.), I barely use makeup....skincare is packed and a blush stick I can also use as as lip color, also a waterproof stick liner. We're not fancy eaters when away, so restaurant attire and extra makeup isn't necessary.

When I was traveling on the east coast for makeup lessons/application, checking on counter displays and consulting, I had to wear a full face always. It's so nice now to go back to being minimal.

@JeanLouiseFinch  Sounds like you are having fun planning this trip.  My daughter and I did the hop on, hop off and it worked out well.  We also did the ferry around the Statue of Liberty, the 911 memorial, and walked from there to the fire station museum where many of the firemen worked that were so heroic that day.

We saw alot for the one day that we were there. Whew! It was in October, a beautiful, warm and sunny day.

Glad you are feeling so good.  Yes, God is good.

Fear not Brothers and Sisters! I have read THE BOOK..........we win!!!
