HELP with the SEARCH function

The search function on these boards really is the pits. {#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}

When you do a search and get a list of results, is there any way to SORT them BY DATE?

Also, sometimes I do a search for a post that I'd just seen the day before, using terms or words that I know were in there (sometimes even b/c I posted them on the thread) and yet no results are found. Argh!
