HELP! Can Someone Answer a Question about IT Cosmetics Cheek Stain Please.

I would like to try their new check stain, but there are two. One is a loose powder and one is in a compact and both come with the same brush. I was wondering if anyone out there in beauty land has tried both and which you like better. It seems when reading the reviews they both get really high ratings, but it also seems like the compact might last longer. From reading the reviews you need very, very little and takes a few tries to apply the compact one and once you do, it is really great. Most people also said the compact will last years because you need so little. I am leaning towards the compact, but was hoping for a personal review from someone first. Thanks for your help.

for beauty products - I am 54, blue eye's, very fair. Skin is normal, but prone to eczema patches.
