Thank you, Ladies. I have many suggestions and when the mall opens, I'll be the first car in the lot anyway.... Straight to the makeup counters to swatch red shades.

@Shanus  One of my favorite reds was by Laura Mercier in the Sheer Collection called Healthy Lips.  This red is wearable for day or evening.  It's not bright and loud but soft and lovely.  It's more of a natural lip red.  It's not sheer but lightweight.  Nordstrom sells it.

@Katcat1   I have Healthy Lips (& Baby Lips). Healthy Lips doesn't read red on me, but rather a deeper pink. Hmmm. Maybe I can try it w/ a red liner underneath. Thanks for your suggestion. A great jumping off point.

@Katcat1   Just tried Healthy Lips with a  pinky/red lip liner. Loving it. Great shade...not an "in your face red". Thanks!!!! May have been discontinued...mine is almost gone...back of the drawer and forgotten. Oh no!
