HD Finishing Powders

Am I the only one who just doesn't get it? I tried every application technique I could find - and I find it does nothing. Whether I apply a little bit or a lot, "push" it into my skin, dust it on - it does nothing. I have the one by ELF.

I recently subscribed to gossmakeupartist on YouTube after he was brought up a few times here and he seems to have the same feelings I do about it. Maybe I would have better results with Mally's Poreless Face Defender.
