.No, I don't cheat, I just move on and find a new stylist.  It's difficult to find a really good stylist.  They need to have the talent in them.  Anyone can cut hair going to school, etc  but like I said, it is the talent within the person that sets them apart from the rest.  That is why I refuse to pay $65 for a haircut.

Whoever cuts my hair the best is who I go to. I don't have any loyalty...if someone I normally go to starts to get sloppy or I'm not happy with anything, I move on. My money, my hair...I want results, not a friend.

I was with my former hair stylist for 10 years and tried someone closer to home, who was just as good and wasn't as expensive., that was 12 years ago. If I saw someone with my type hair and she had a great hair cut, I would try her stylist and not give it a second thought.

I have.  Fortunately, I have no need to, as my current stylist is fantastic.

Yep, sure have - but how is that "cheating" ?   I've gone to the same barber for 40+ years.  Every now and then I feel the need for a change - doesn't everyone?  I may "stray" for one haircut or several, but I always go back to my barber.  I don't feel that I need to explain, and she doesn't ask "where ya been?"
