And I tried it this morning. My hair seems to love it! It's never felt so soft!

I posted previously about taking the plunge and ordering WEN, since my fine, color treated hair was drying out and feeling like straw with the sulfate-free color maintenance shampoos. And that was even with shampooing every 2-3 days.

I ordered the Pom/Sweet Almond duo, and tried the Pom this morning. At first I was skeptical of the amount recommended for each cleanse, but I followed the directions exactly for my chin-length hair (5-6 pumps per cleanse, rinse thoroughly, leave second one on for duration of shower and rinse at very end).

I'm honestly surprised at how soft my hair feels after one use. I couldn't stop touching it today!

I hope this is what it's going to feel like all the time, cause if so I'll be permanently hooked! 😍

I'm glad you enjoyed your first Wen experience. It keeps getting better and better. I have fine hair too and my hair loves sweet almond and I always incorporate it in my second cleanse. Im a long time Wen girl and just when iI think my hair cannot possibly get any better it does. Enjoy and Welcome!

Yay sam96!!! I remember your first post. I was wondering how you were doing with your Wen. I'm so glad you like it, and that you updated us on how you are doing. Just remember that if your hair is not getting clean, feels dry, or greasy, just add a few more pumps to your cleanse. It all depends on hair length, texture, and thickness as to how much you use. The directions are a general guideline, but you may find you need to use more. I have hair that is just below chin length. I have to use 10 pumps for the first cleanse, and 10 pumps for the second cleanse because my hair is thicker. However, if 5-6 pumps per cleanse continues to give you great results, then that must be the perfect amount for you. It's just that sometimes people find that their hair gets greasy over a few days, if they are not using enough. If this happens, you need to use more, not less. it's the opposite of what you normally think about using a conditioner. You have to use enough or your hair won't get clean. Anyways, enough of my rambling. I'm so glad you like it!!! Keep us posted on how you are doing with Wen.

Congrats on the success!  Like Hillary said some people need more ( I know I do) and remember that you have to add more sometimes as your hair may get longer and fuller.  Also remember to get a good splash of water on your hair so it gets frothy and makes it easier to massage your scalp and evenly distributed.  I use the WEN comb too.  Please ask questions here because everyone is so helpful and encouraging.  I may not have stuck with WEN over 2 years ago if I had not come here for help.

I also started with the SAM/POM duo as my first order.  In addition to SMC since I also wanted to try the seasonals.  I was very happy with the results and at that time didn't know about the recommender.  When I finally did take the recommender it did have both of these listed as my recommended formulas.  Although, I really like BGT and tea tree as my two favorite core formulas.  I can use most formulas except for lavender and cucumber aloe since they were both very drying.
