Now the dreaded 3-day wait before I can wet my hair. C'mon Tuesday morning!  LOL!

I thought you had naturally curly hair.  I love your hair.  It's beautiful!

I used to perm my stick straight hair too, but I could get it wet in the shower--just not shampoo it for 3 days----and oh that smell!!! So stinky--has that changed ?

@SurferWife  Wow! I thought that you were a natural curly girl 🤗.  Very pretty bouncy red curls and a very pretty profile photo 😊.

I agree.  I always wet mine down usually the next day.  Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to go out after having slept on it.  It has never affected it.

The way my hair takes perms, I rather doubt even conditioning it would affect it.  In fact, if I thought it would loosen it a little, I might try it.  I'd like a looser perm, but my hairdresser uses the largest rods she claims can be used on my length of hair.

@SurferWife  -  I thought you could wet it anytime, but had to wait 3 days before shampoo.

@AngelPuppy1

My hair is naturally curly, but I wanted to get a perm to make the curls consistent.

The smell didn't seem as bad as the 70's perm smell.  She did give me a towel to cover my face while I was processing, so maybe that's why the smell wasn't so bad.

Yes, my profile pic is my natural curl.  I wanted a perm to make all my curls consistent.

@SurferWife  Lovely curls!! That's a nice idea- a perm to make the curl pattern consistent. Its always fun to go to the salon and get your hair done- I bet you're enjoying your perm! Rock those pretty curls, SurferWife! 😁🙌💗
