Ok, bought one. I also looked at the other similar ones, but will give Goody a chance first. Will let you know how it goes. Thanks for all the great help, much appreciated!

Hi mcducky! Just Googled the Dry Bar version. Looks very similar to the Goody one I purchased today, thanks for the info.

Used it tonight, will keep testing. It got through my hair without tearing as much from the root as my usual boar-nylon brush. However, I heard it snap (break) at least 2 hairs which the boar-nylon one doesn't. Not sure which will leave me with more hair on my head in the long run!
