I love a lot of Bobbi's products, and I will still purchase them, however I use a lot of products from all different lines,so I am never tied to one line for makeup!!!!!!!

She's no different then any other dept. store brand you find. I don't know what the complaint is. Dept store lipsticks have always been expensive. You get what you pay for. I will continue to purchase my este Lauder color I've been using for years.

IMHO, there is nothing special about BB lipsticks. I find them drying.

I haven't found my limit yet although I have to really love a color to spend more than $35.

OP, I had no idea who you were referring to until I finally found her name mentioned in one of the replies .... not everyone is psychic. {#emotions_dlg.unsure}

As for the BB cosmetics line, I've always thought her makeup was overpriced, and her foundations are much too yellow. Obviously she thinks people will pay anything for her makeup. {#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}

I only purchase when I can find a deal or a sell.

I used to use all Bobbi Brown but she has reduced the size of her stick makeup and changed the formula. I like Estee Lauder much better and their customer service is first rate, Bobbi's newest powder shadows have no staying power and although I like the color of alot of her lipsticks I find them drying and have no staying power. Dior lip glosses are expensive but stay on and the colors are beautiful Dior's 5 shadow pallets are also gorgeous I like the incognito - beautiful neutrals with staying power.

Oh, her lipsticks are beautiful but I just set a limit on what I will spend and when she first came out with her matte that is all I wore years ago. I like Laura Mercier's sheer collection for $23 a tube but then I also wear lip shimmers by Burt's Bees that are under $10.

Sorry about that, I should have used her last name. She no longer owns the company but still represents it. You are so right about her foundations being too yellow which I tried any years ago but never went back for seconds.

I will splurge on Chanel and Armani lipsticks-excellent quality and color tones. But I also like to try new items and new lines at lower price points. My new fav is the Skinn cosmetics Hollywood lip kit that was part of a value kit I just purchased.
