Someone mentioned they had dry eye, I had severe dry eye, and started taking sea buckthorn oil, it really works! I always have some on hand, if my eyes start to water and feel itchy I take a capsule of sea buckthorn oil and the problem goes away.

The surgery and recovery is a breeze! I had it done about 6 years ago, and TG they’re still holding up!! 😜. Good luck, you’ll be happy you did it! Interview each doctor, and ask how many times they’ve done the surgery, and for before and after photos. And, mine was covered by insurance because it was affecting my vision. Make sure they test you for that, and if it does, I’m pretty sure insurance will cover it.

I've been making regular trips to my retina specialist. My eyes have finally succumbed to my type 1 diabetes. Every time I go I get injections in my eyes. I only wish I had droopy eyelids to worry about.

I hear you! Had perfect vision all my life, a few minor lines here and there. A year ago had my first bout with blepharitis, got a chalazion and now styes. Eye doctor trips galore. My vision is affected and I am in constant pain. I wore eye make up my whole life and feel naked without. Totally forbidden now. Now I am happy to get drops which I am not allergic to and make things worse. I have seen three different specialists and they all have different opinions on what causes it. I long for the days where I worried about a little line around my eyes.

THis is a great nugget of information. What dosage is it?

It just depends, if I don't take it regularly, my eyes will start to water and feel itchy, then I will take a couple capsules, 500 milligrams ea.

Once healed it did look nice and the drooping was gone but....... for me, my eyes have become EXTREMELY dry and I do mean extremely. I am currently using restasis for this and my eye dr has recommended trying tubes in my eyes but Im not to keen on that. At the point, I do have some drooping starting again but nothing like it was. I say its a good thing to do if it is bothering your vision but make sure you ask your dr about it possibly causing a dry eye problem due to the fact that they don't close as much as they used to.

The tubes are nothing at all to do
