I've tried many many soaps over the years- a different brand/type every time hubby ran out, and the Beekman boys are the only soaps he finally said he just wanted to keep repurchasing which says alot! They are moisturizing and smell amazing (but not too overpowering). He is happy and loves how his skin feels afterwards and I am happy I don't have to keep researching new brands to try!

@BlingQueen022 We don't cut ours in half- hubby likes the big manly bars, lol. But I did want to say that they are suppose to be coming out with smaller sized bars closer to the holidays I think they said. Just and fyi!
@HappyDaze Oh good news! The smaller size bars would work so much better. I'm looking forward to that. Thanks for the info, much appreciated.

Yes! Didn't you get my email, @HappyDaze? I sent it just as soon as I opened my package. Thanks again. I'm really well supplied, but I'm still eager for the next set. DH and I are going on a trip June 2 so I'm seriously thinking about moving the next one up so I get it in time to take the items with me. I love the scent of honeysuckle and it would be my only scent of the week, so to speak.

@BlingQueen022 What kind of knife are you using? I always cut mine in half, using a large chef's knife (nothing serated), and it presses right through, lickety split.

@JeanLouiseFinch hi JeanLouiseFinch. You know, I haven't tried cutting the bars. To be honest, I'm scared to. I'm afraid of the knife slipping and cutting my wrist or something. I do have a very sharp butcher knife I could try that's not serated. Thanks for the tip. I guess against a clean cutting board it would be ok.

I used their soap all winter and I can honestly say
I didn't have one little dry patch on my skin at all.
Every winter I get them from the dry heat and this was the first time in years I was free from them.
That shows me how nice the soap is for sure.
Besides, I love the lather and the smell too!

I love Beekman Boys. The soap lathers and is really creamy. The soap lasts forever. I have dry skin and this soap is great for me.

LOVE the BEEKMAN bar soaps.... LOVE! They lather beautifully, last FOREVER, and smell wonderful (as others have said, without being overpowering). I find them to be very moisturizing as well. Initially I was going to cut them in half, but now acutally like them the size that they are. The only down side... they last so long that I can't move on to the next scent for a very long time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@nyc1 Exactly! I don't have that kind of patience. I cut mine and probably have 6 or 7 halfbars in my shower so I can have choices. I'm trying my best to wait, but I'm getting anxious to cut my first bar of White Water. ![]()

Mallygal, I was in the boat with you. Looked at all kinds of soaps on-line. Finally went on Amazon & bought a couple of inexpensive bars of Canus bar soap (lavender & unscented) and absolutely love them both. They are maybe a little tiny bigger than the bar soap you buy in the supermarket. I have very dry skin & don't have to use as much moisturizer after my shower. I don't think you have to spend a lot to get a good soap.
