Re: Glowy, dewy, oily look....Do you like?

The problem is that women on tv and also in real life use much to much.  It's the same with hair serums and oils, they use too much and end up with lank greasy looking hair and and shiny oily looking skin.  We're all good at seeing what we want too see.  My bff and I call it the "grease ball look".  I don't have dry, wrinkly skin so I know that I don't need any dewy, oil, serum products.  At 57, a touch of glow helps but I get that from my makeup and I use make up sparingly.  I have been wearing my hair in it's naturally curly state but I am super careful about the hair oil.  Just touch once a day and only if I need it.  I agree about the women on tv, sometimes I want to reach through the tv and scrub them up...lol

I like a little bit of a dewy look......I have oily skin, so I have to be careful, but I love a tiny bit high on my cheekbones........I prefer Becca because it gives me the most natural look. I agree that women on television can over do it and then they tend to look oily or greasy instead of dewy!!!!!

Dewy is great if your skin is young. After a certain age, it dosn't look natural at all. Perhaps as if you were trying too hard!

Dewy and oily are completely different. I had dewy skin at one time, so I know the difference.

I wonder if the skin care products in the marketplace today are part of the problem too.
