QVC used to carry a set of three glass nail files that I love. The two large ones broke and I'm down to the little one. Does anyone know where to purchase them or a brand name so I can try to find them? I tried a drug store brand, I think Revlon, just OK. I tried a higher end one, Julep, that was terrible. I would be very grateful for any help on this. TIA

I wish I could help.

The set of 3 glass nail files are the best. I'd like to order another set too.

The knockoffs are not the same as the ones that used to be sold on the Q.

I have the blue set, and love that they each have their own velvet-like storage case. These are the only files I've ever used that do not damage nails when filing back and forth, usually a big no no.

If you have a boutique near you that carries Lady Primrose the shop should have theirs which is the best in my opinion. If not you could check online. Good luck.

I've had them for years and wouldn't EVER use anything else, as I ADORE them. Mine are still in mint condition so I don't know specifically where to find them.

However, I receive a great many mail- order catalogs from a variety of places and many of them have them all year long. I'll see if I can find some and provide names and contact numbers.

I love glass files. These are the one's you want, the Czech Glass, they are the best.

Re: Glass Nail Files?

[ Edited ]

Betteb,

Yes ! These are the kind I have but I've had them for so long I forgot they were identified as Czech Nail Files, and I certainly didn't know they could be purchased on Amazon, for I've had mine longer

than I've known of Amazon.

So good of you to inform us and now if I need replacements I will know where to find them.

BTW, I bought mine so very long ago that they cost about twice as much as Amazon is asking for them, but they are still worth it !!

Yes redhead, they were considerably higher priced here on Q. These make great girlfriend/sister/mom gifts.

You gotta love Amazon, right?

Oh Betteb, you are SO right ! And I am glad I did finally find Amazon once I got a computer long ago !

You make a wonderful point that many ladies may not know. These nail files make marvelous little gifts for all occassions. For where can you give something so useful, that works so beautifully, and for your investment lasts for so long ? Your  "giftee" will think of you for years to come every time they use them for mine have withstood all kinds of abuse and look brand new ! I also like that you can wash them with soap and water or run a little alcohol or whatever over them to keep them clean and/or sterilized.

( I love the super big one for toes, etc., and at first never thought I would use it !)

The nail files from QVC were by Mark IV.

Great files and I still use mine.  After the Q stopped carrying them, I bought them directly from Mark IV's website.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Buy them on ebay or amazon, but get the ones made in the Czech Republic, all others are junk!!!
