My hair has progressively gotten more dry and feeling damaged.

My stylist says it may be a change in texture due to more gray hair. I have been using Pureology Nanoworks, and she says there isn't a much better shampoo than that. She is in a Redken salon!!

I color my hair to cover gray about every 5-6 weeks. It is short, but longer than I've had in years. I get a few highlights. My hair is dark brown with a lot of red. It was my natural color until gray!

I am going to try WEN Fig again. I was using all the pumps at once, leaving it on through the shower, then rinsing well. I now read it says to SPLIT the pumps and do it twice. I just don't know how to only use half and feel it's really IN THERE!

Could this have been why I wasn't loving it???? Any other suggestions?

Could be but take heart it does have a learning curve and many have made mistakes the first few times. Most important is to make sure you are definitely using the right amount of pumps. This could be found on the chart under Wen. Divide that amount in half. Put the given amount on your hair with a splash of water until it gets frothy and work well through your hair. What I do if my first cleanse should be 14 pumps I do 7 on my crown and 7 through the remainder. Rinse well and do the same for the second cleanse. Rinsing is another important factor. Even if you think you've rinsed enough rinse some more. Don't forget Ouse work one pump as a leave in. Good luck and let us know how you do. Someone will always offer additional help here. FYI I have fine hair but a lot of it about four inches past my shoulders I use 12-14 pumps each cleanse.

Grays can drive you nuts!

I love doing two cleanses. My second cleanse and leave-in are always Wen Fig. The first cleanse, I alternate between Wen TT and 613.

I agree with Hilary, Beaches gave you great advice. The only thing that I would add is to not be stingy with the pumps or rinses.

Get your flu shot...because I didn't.

Me too! I've tried almost every "flavor" and had no luck. I decided to give the recent TSV a try. I have to say the Six Thirteen smells heavenly, and I'm not a "scent" person. I'm going to try mixing the two as well. I also wasn't aware that you split the pumps between the cleanses, I do not recall that being in the instructions on the bottle before. So we'll see!
