Re: Gentle Exfoiliator Recommendations

Aveeno Positively Radiant Skin Brightening Daily Scrub. It comes in a greenish tube. They have one that looks similar, isn't so make sure it says this, Positively Radiant Skin Brightening Daily Scrub.

I have dry and somewhat sensitive skin and I use this every other night. I don't use it too close to my eyes.

I also use Oil of Olay night time Elixir (sort of reddish pump bottle, almost see through). This is also suppose to take dead skin off revealing fresh skin underneath and to be used at bedtime which I do do every other night.

Re: Gentle Exfoiliator Recommendations

I received a sample of Peter Roth Thomas FirmX Peeling gel at Sephora and I really like it!!

It's very gentle and non-irritating. Ask for a sample and give it a try!

Re: Gentle Exfoiliator Recommendations

BHA / salicylic acid is more gentle on my skin than AHA / glycolic acid. Paula's Choice has fantastic exfoliants in various strengths and delivery systems. You can call them and they will send you samples. They are very knowledgeable. I have had great success with their customer service. It is very important that a chemical exfoliant has the correct Ph or else it will not exfoliate. I use Paula's Choice 4% BHA foam once or twice a week. If you really want to be very gentle, you could always start off by using a soft microfiber washcloth every night when you wash your face.

Re: Gentle Exfoiliator Recommendations

Peter Thomas Roth FirmX Peeling Gel is THE BEST!!! I'm addicted--haha Smiley Happy I have tried so, so many scrubs over the years and although my skin can tolerate a lot I either felt like they were too rough (damaging) and/or didn't do a good job of getting off all of the dead skin. The PTR peeling gel is different than anything else out there. It does not contain any rough pieces & is a nice smooth product that when applied to your skin feels awesome. I put it on my skin and rub in small circular motions. It immediately gets the dry skin off and you can see the dry skin pieces rolling around on your skin. You just rinse off and pat dry. I have purchased it 4 times already and I rarely find a product I like enough to repurchase. ..let alone 4 times. I hope you will give it a try!!

This, a nice warm wet microfiber wash cloth.

Isomers makes a nice gentle exfoliator wash, it is the All-in-One Total Daily Cleanser, I really like the cleanser.

Re: Gentle Exfoiliator Recommendations

I stay away from scrubs or peels of all kinds. I use an AHA formula everyday and that has worked well for me. I find that I can even use powder foundation now, something I had stopped doing as I got older.
