I've heard "experts" say many times that the main mistake people make with sunscreen is not applying enough product. When you're using products with sunscreen in them, such as a moisturizer or serum, how do you know when you're getting enough? Also, if you use sunscreen in alternative formats like BE's mineral sunscreen or SPF 25 Mineral Veil, how much of those do you need to apply?
And one more silly question: I know that when you layer products with SPF, the effects aren't cumulative (ie SPF 15 foundation + SPF 25 Mineral veil does not equal SPF 40 coverage) but which prevails? In that example, do I have SPF 15 or 25 coverage?
By the way, I've heard the negative reports on mineral/powder sunscreens and choose to ignore them since I don't huff my products as a general rule, nor do I create giant clouds of powder as I apply.
