i've had acrylics for about 20 yrs just got a new set put on last nite.. my real nails are ruined definetely, i'm going to get acrylics forever..  but i get the gel nail polish put on every 2 weeks never chips and stays shiny,  i do want to try the gel polishes they have out for my toes, real polish chips within days i dont want to spend the $$ on getting my toes done, i spend enough on my nails.

My gel polish lasts two weeks.  Whatever you do, don't pick at it when it looks like it's starting to peel.
