Re: GREAT FOUNDATION for LESS

Hi ladies! Below is a comment/review from Walmart's website in regards to this foundation and oily skin. This review is on page one. Please see below: @@@@@@@@ ALEEH Recommends this product? Yes Age:25 - 34 Gender:Female Ease of Use Value Quality 02/16/2013 So far, I really like this foundation. It has light to medium coverage, and it leaves a very natural finish. I have combo skin (oily in the T-zone) and as long as I set the foundation with a powder, the finish behaved throughout the day. I would say this isn't too dewy nor is it too matte, and I tend to favor matte foundations. I am fair skinned with light eyes and light hair and I actually ended up buying this in shade 5. I took off one star because it was difficult to pick out a color. They all seemed to lean yellow, but shade 5 was the most neutral of the light shades. My skin is a very neutral color. In Revlon ColorStay I am a 220 and in Chanel vitalumiere aqua I am a B10. At first I thought this might be too dark in shade 5, but it blended out nicely and was just right. It didn't seem to leave a yellow cast, either, even though I thought it might be a touch too yellow in the bottle. I will buy this again. Re: GREAT FOUNDATION for LESS

I checked Wal-Mart' s website and this line is getting good reviews. I'm going to check it out the next time I'm in Wal-Mart. I'm glad to see another reasonably priced, cruelty free line.

Re: GREAT FOUNDATION for LESS

This foundation is a winner for me. Nice slip and good coverage. I applied it over Josie Maran light argan oil and it worked great! This 61 year old is happy.

The fact it has SPF, is cruelty free, and made in the U.S.A. doesn't hurt either!

Re: GREAT FOUNDATION for LESS

Brunette- Thanks for posting the review for those of us with oily skin. Today is my day to head to Walmart so I'm definitely going to check it out. Not sure what shade I'll be. I think I'm paler than that Reviewer so I'll have to guess - as usual. Nothing new there. But I'll post once I'm able to wear this for a couple of days to see how it wears.

I'm hoping for good results!!!

Re: GREAT FOUNDATION for LESS

I picked up the About Face Foundation, the Pressed Powder Foundation and volumizing mascara. I love how it's all packaged. The powder I'm sure is a good color match. I'm not positive about the foundation. I don't buy any that have been tampered with so I had to get one that the bottle was still sealed in the wrap. I'll report back after I try it:-)

Re: GREAT FOUNDATION for LESS

Hello ladies! You are very welcome! I hope you really love this foundation! Why spend $50-$75 for a department store foundation when this in my opinion is just as nice if not better. Please let me know what you think. Smiley Happy Brunette

Re: GREAT FOUNDATION for LESS

I tried several Flower products when it first came out. The eyeliner was terrible, lasted only an hour or two, then disappeared. I never tried anymore products, and don't know if my Walmart even carries the line anymore. My HG is Hard Candy CC cream, also sold at Walmart. I also prefer a BB or CC crème because I don't require full coverage.
