I just purchased the GloPro and want to know if it is necessary to use the prep pads every time before you use the GloPro?  Is there another product that can be used, if any, before using the GloPro.  I really don't want to make more purchases to use this.

Thank you for any help you can give!

I bought the Glopro last fall and have been using it ever since.  I do think it has helped smooth out my face.  Mine came with a few of those pads, so of course, I had to buy them.  Then I bought more when it was a free shipping day.

In my honest opinion, you don't need them at all.  I have only used them like every third time I use the device, just to make them last longer.  I am almost done with my first jar of them, and these last few have gotten dried out.  I think all they do is remove any last bit of dirt or face wash or anything on your face.  If you want to use something, maybe a light astringent would work too, on a round cotton pad.  But they really are NOT worth the money at all and I won't be buying any more.

Always remember that you are absolutely unique. Just like everyone else. Margaret Mead

Thank you Puppy Lips.  I will get an astringent.

Re: GLOPRO SKIN PREP PADS

I would be tempted to try Dr. Nassif's TS in the 'Gentle' version. Those don't contain any strong acids so they would be okay to use before dermarolling. Great price!
