GHD Platinum + Iron

I'm considering buying this iron (A346908), since it has great reviews and is on sale.   For those who have it, what heat protectant product do you recommend ?

I bought this last year and love it! It's the best flat iron I've ever had. Super fast and really works. Worth every penny.

I have, or should I say had, this flat iron. Loved it. The circuit board went out about 9 months after I bought it. I went directly to the company and they replaced it. Then again, about 3 months ago it went out again. The company would not replace a second time. I was out the nearly $150 I spent on the thing. Never again!
