First of all, allow me to say I (shhhh) color my hair. Oh the horror. Anyway, because I do, my stylist puts on my hair a product made by Kerastase called Fusio Dose. It is applied at the shampoo bowl and sits on your hair for 5 minutes or so.Very deep treatment.  I get this done every other time. I tried to purchase this on my own to use on the time I do not get it done (it is pricey) and the reviews are not good alluding to the fact that the product may not be real. One can not purchase it through the company nor the salon. You have to go in for a treatment. Is anyone familiar with this and are there legitimate substitutes.

@DeanieTry Google???

PS-  I'm going to my grave (or at least to deep senility with my color-treated hair.  Sometimes aging the natural way is just natural and not at all attractive.

I love the Fusio Dose and I am willing to pay the $25, every six shampoos to have weeks worth of amazing hair

Re: Fusio Dose and Substitutes

There’s quite a few on eBay and they are a lot less!! I had another of the Kerastase treatments at my salon for 25.00 each and found them on eBay for after color. My stylist sounded like she was mad when I told her!!!! It was the same product. Make sure you get the pump!!

Re: Fusio Dose and Substitutes

I have been using Fusio Dose for a few years.  It's amazing. I do buy it from an on-line reputable beauty site and get it for 1/3 the price that my hair salon charges.  It is not fake either.

I would have no idea which formula to use, I do not think $25.00 is a outlandish price

Counterfeit beauty items often look just like the real ones but have different ingredients. I'd be careful. Unless you have it chemically analyzed in a lab, you can't be 100% certain it's the same product.

Re: Fusio Dose and Substitutes

I don't know what the treatment does for your hair, so I'm not sure this is a match. You may want to look into Olaplex. Olaplex is a hair treatment done in salons and it rebuilds structural bonds in the hair. It can be used alone, but it's often a process used with color treating hair, especially when bleach is used, as bleach breaks down hair bonds.

Olaplex in the salon has two version, step 1 and step 2. They've made a home version of step 2 and call it step 3. Olaplex Step 3 is available at Sephora for $28. Diane Mary reports she can get 4 uses out of a bottle. If you use it every week, that's $28 a month. You can use it less often if you want to save money. Here's her review on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8N45co9mxEI.
