@gabstoomuch Some cosmetic companies strictly use a yellow base. You need to say goodbye to IT and try companies that offer different undertones. Fenty which is Rihanna's co. offers different undertones, No 7 offers different undertones and you can go to certain Walgreens where they have this No 7 tool that will give you your correct shade. Target also sells No 7 but does not have the tool. Estee Lauder has different undertones and Laura Mercier. That is what I can think of right now.

@Katcat1 I can add LancĂ´me, Clinique and NARS.

I agree...tried it once and as the day progessed I looked more yellow. Returned it. Can't say I noticed glitter. Sandra did look very shiny last night but I thought maybe it was hi-lighter.

That stuff is so good. You can see it smoothing your skin as your putting it on. Key is to use very little. I like the pressed also.
@ccassaday - you took the words out of my mouth. I was going to add to my statement that my compact lasts a very long time since you only need a little. I ran out and purchased something at Walmart to use temporarily and wow - I could reallly notice the difference.

Thank goodness no one has to use IT brand. I totally agree that the company ignores those who have pink or neutral skin. I tried it once and I thought it was the worst foundation I'd ever tried.

@Mom2DogsI think foundsation is the most difficult product to get right. I've given up on any "long distance" purchases, but I've also had horrifically bad experience with supposed experts over the years. Once with a Lancome make-over a long, long time ago and then with Prescriptives - with all their available choices, neither the "expert" at a Nordstrom nor the one at Bloomies who chose a different foundation did much better than I could have done myself!.
I am so pleased that foundation is no longer even a part of my routine. I look better without it.

@millieshops ....well I hope I do not have your experience at the make up counter.....and you are 'brave' in the fact that you will go with out foundation. I don't need a lot but am more confident with a little coverage and color on my cheeks.

IT just came out with a new foundation, Confidence in a Foundation and it is now in Ulta and Sephora stores. This new one comes in 48 shades and there are choices with warm, neutral and cool undertones in each shade range. I just purchased shade 125, light beige, today and it has pink undertones. I have only swatched it so far and it's a perfect match but haven't worn it for a whole day yet. Looks like IT finally got the message and increased their shade range dramatically. Yay!

I bought the recommended colour too, was too yellow. I applied like the gal was, with a heavy hand so the flaws woud be covered. I looked like the walking dead. I used a lighter hand, which looks better but doesn't cover scars and uneven skin. I got the two pack too! I feel I will have it for the rest of my life.

I've never been tempted to use the IT glitter uh illuminating CC cream nor the matte CC cream and when I've used up the tube and a half of the light shade of the original CC cream, I'm moving on from this brand. I've used the CC cream less and less over the last year as I try out other foundations and tinted moisturizers/
