I have been searching for the perfect foundation for quite some time. I tried foundations, some from suggestions on this board and others I was interested in. Those that failed are: Dior Skin, Revlon Colorstay, Loreal True Blend, Avon Extralasting, Clinique Even Better, Clarins Extra Firming, MUF HD, Bobbi Brown, BE, Smashbox Halo. I went to Nordstrom and got a sample of Shiseido Sun Protection SPF 42 foundation.... and I absolutely love it! This stuff is amazing. I blends well, buildable if needed, and dries matte. The true test was being out on hot summer day, perspiring, and oily faced. I did blot, but the make up did not budge. No separation whatsoever! I have large pores and normaly the foundation is visible in them... not with this stuff! I love it! It claims to be water resistant, but I have not tested that. Another plus is that it does not look thick or cakey. The high SPF drew me to this one. I can not use any emollient creams or lotions on my face so a separate SPF is not an option. I must have it in my foundation. I do get oily thought out the day and must blot but I don't retouch the make up. Love, love, love.
