Found my Perfect Olive/Khaki Eyeliner Ladies

I got Deep Olive from Mally's website in her Evercolor eye lining pencil. It is a deep dark olive but works well just so or smudging. It also works well for lining the lower lash line.

I also found a great cheapie(through a friend on these boards) olive/khaki in Wet N Wild Olive. This one is a softer lighter shade, no smudging necessary and almost gives you a soft cat eye look. This can also be used top and bottom but is much lighter so all depends on what you are looking for.

Both go on very easy, no tugging or pulling, both creamy pencils. I would recommend either one or both of these since they are so different in color and really like both.

Thanks doglover3, I'm looking for this too. What color are your eyes? Mine are blue.

Re: Found my Perfect Olive/Khaki Eyeliner Ladies

Oh, I remember the thread where someone was asking for or about a great olive green eyeliner. Was that you? That was a great thread. So many tips and suggestions.

I bought one from the suggestions listed. It's not quite as olive as I like but still wearable. It was from Covergirl called Majestic Jade.

My favorite is still from Prestige called Smoke or Smokey Green. It's darn near impossible to find though. I also like Cliniques Quick Liner in Khaki shown above, but don't like that price for liners. They get used up too quickly.

I might try to find the Wet 'n Wild you posted doglover, although I have a heck of a time finding that brand or what I want in that brand at our local drugstores; plus I do prefer an automatic pencil.

Me too!! I've always loved Khaki/Olive eyeliners and had just one years ago & gone now. We blue-eyed ladies need just the perfect shade. Thanks for the Clinique reminder --- I like their color cosmetics & some skincare -- found a great thin eyebrow pencil. Prices are moderate and I'm now obsessing over that liner photo !!! Promised myself ""no more makeup!"" cuz I'm overstocked -- but --- now I need that darn Khaki. It really brings out the Blue!

If you have a Christmas Tree Shoppe anywhere near you that is where I got my Wet N Wild Olive. Desi told me about it after she spotted it there, knew I was looking for a nice olive/khaki and this is a really nice one although not dark if that is what you want. This is a very soft but definitely a khaki or soft olive, just called Olive though. I am sure if you don't want dark you will like this one. It goes on very smooth, no tugging and lasts. I use a $2 ELF lid primer, let it completely dry. I put this on first and do my eye lining last to make sure it is dry. I got the ELF at Kohl's.

this Mally Deep Olive is a good color but is quite dark, quite dark but a good color never the less. I did smudge it for the top but not on the bottom lash line, okay as it.

I put it on at 3:30 this afternoon and it is still like I put it on. Tomorrow I will use it again but use a much lighter hand so it goes on not as dark, hopefully. If it does, will just smudge it.

I have a dark brown Clinique eye liner, doesn't look anything like the one you posted and sure doesn't last past an hour or two so the one you posted must be much nicer and better than the one I have. I got it in a kit.

The Mally eye brow pencil duo I got is great for anyone looking for a regular pencil. When I say duo I not only mean you get 2 pencils(larger/longer ones) but they are also double ended so, you are actually getting 4 brow pencils for $20.

They go on very smoothly, no tugging, very natural looking, easy to apply being I have absolutely no tails at all on either side so gels, powders, wands etc don't work for me. I have tried so many and ones that are one color, taupe(IT, ybf etc) show a bit or red for some reason on me, not good. I do have a Mally pencil with the powder on the other end, $30, isn't worth that that's for sure and pencil part isn't nearly as nice as the duo I got for $20. I got sable, love them. So, anyone looking for a good brow pencil, give these a try.

did you ever find the Ulta brand liner called moss? and I know you said that your eyes are hazel but you should really try the trick with purple! For some reason purple makes any hint of green that you have pop! I was very pleasantly surprised to learn that. my eyes are generally a bluish grayish sometimes a little greenish but when I put on the purple liner they are a vibrant green!

Mahalo for all the info doglover. Nope, no Christmas Tree Shoppe here. But I just found it on Ebay. A little higher there than the cheap prices found in stores but still cheaper than most any other brand.

Another one I like is by Jordanna called Metal Rocks and the color is Envy. Found at some CVS/Longs and Walgreens. Price is around $3 or $4 and it's automatic.

Re: Found my Perfect Olive/Khaki Eyeliner Ladies

yes Andrea, got the Ulta in moss and in olive as well. While I like the colors they don't go on very easy for me, not as soft, tugs a bit and have to go over it a few times but both colors work. I do have purple in the Ulta chubby crayon like pencil and do like that a lot and agree, works well with hazel or green eyes or most eye colors I would think. I also have the Ulta one in green which I like a lot too. I also have it in the Rimmel ScandalEyes in the same chubby crayon type pencil liner, also good as is this in grey.

MrsSweetieBear, does look like a nice olive or moss to me too. I haven't seen Envy but will look now, thanks
