"Impossible to keep the brush dry/clean"? Really? I have had zero problems with this. I remove the brush head every night after I use it, clean it with hot H20, Ivory soap, put it back on the MIA and let it air dry. What's the problem?

Who cares about the color!!!!! Make a decision.

Life must be hard for U. I mean these 2 (?) problems are so simple. Good luck!

P.S.:

People complain & complain about the cost of the Clarisonic. The Foreo is almost $200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is your problem??? No need to be so harsh and hostile.

The Foreo doesn't need replacement brushes. And when I got my Clairsonic, it wasn't a less expensive model that they're offering now, so I paid a chunk for it. My Foreo hasn't had to be recharged since January when I got it. I'm sold on the Foreo.

Replacement brushes & charging R an issue for U? Life must be challenging for U as well.

It's all about how the device works. This Foreo hasn't been around long and who wants to use silicone brissles on your face? How clean can this device be after many uses?

As many users have commented on, it's hard to use around the nose and other areas that aren't flat on your face.

You are the one that has a serious problem. Just because we like another product more than the clarisonic is no need to lash out.

FYI, the silicone is way easier to keep clean because bacteria cannot breed on the Luna, which means it is actually a much cleaner product to use. You should be informed before you make comments.

It is very easy to use around the nose and on the face. It just needs to be used a couple of times to get the hang of it.

The Luna does not need to be charged regularly which is great because it is one less thing to do and think about. It is also great if you travel and happen to forget your charger. The silicone is very soft against the skin, doesn't pull and therefore is more anti-aging. Plus, the opposite side can be used as an anti-aging device.

Wow Skylands, could you maybe muster just a bit more hostility here? You like your clarisonic, that's great. Others love their foreo and have given their reasons. Since you haven't used the Foreo, basically your opinion on the item is worth ZIP.

Hostility? U don't know what hostility is.

But you sure know what stupidity is.

My husband and I both have the blue Luna and we love it. We both have oily skin and it cleans really well.

I love how soft my skin feels afterwards. There are no brushes to replace and there is zero irritation or risk of thereof with the Luna.

I also use the anti-aging side under my eyes and on the rest of my face and it feels great. I highly recommend the blue Luna if you have combination skin; the extra row of nubs do really get your face clean.

It makes a difference because it cleans deeper but without any irritation. I had the clarisonic and I hated it. In two weeks it seemed that the brush was no longer clean and after three weeks it felt like the brush head was very rough. Before I replaced my first brush head, I was getting little white bumps on my forehead from clogged pores.

I have used the blue Luna for about 4 months. It still looks new, easy to clean, no clogged pores and best of all I do not need to replace any brush heads. Check online for Foreo promo codes. We were able to get it with a very good discount straight from Foreo. Paid $135.

Thank you so much NYCVixen. I didn't think it would matter since I'm able to use the much harsher Clarisonic on my face, but it's nice to hear from someone's who has actually used the blue luna (Skylands, it's not the physical color I was debating but its purpose, blue is for combo skin, pink is for sensitive skin).

I also bought the Clarisonic back in the day so this luna is relatively cheap compared to what I paid and that's not counting all those brushheads I've purchased over the years.

Maybe it's a dryer climate elsewhere but my Clarisonic brush is never dry by the next time I use it (I only use it at night). I can't imagine how much unseen bacteria is on it.

You're lucky to get have paid $135 for yours. The only deal I can find right now is 20% off at dermstore.com and only the blue is in stock (I wanted the pink, but now I think the blue should be okay if not better for me.

Thanks again

No, changing brush heads isn't an "issue" (your word, not mine), I was responding to you comment about the cost of the Foreo, meaning there's no ONGOING cost as with the Clarisonic. And the charging wasn't an issue UNTiL I went to use it and it died on me.

It doesn't have to be an either/or -- both have their merits. I planned on using both but found I've only picked up my Clarisonic once since I got the Foreo.

Re: Foreo luna pink vs. blue

I've been wanting one for awhile and have talked myself out of it twice when they had good deals. I've never been attracted to the clarisonic for the reasons mentioned, those brushes must harbor a lot of bacteria and then the cost to replace them. I too have heard the Foreo holds it charge for a long time.

The different colors are for different skin types. I remember seeing some good videos online explaining the difference but I can't remember where.

Thanks babyac for mentioning the dermstore sale... may finally cave on one myself!

why are you getting so worked up over a facial cleaning device? {#emotions_dlg.confused1} Geez, relax. If you love your Clarisonic, then enjoy it. You don't need to insult people just to defend what you like.

I'm happy NYCVixen chimed in -- here I was telling you that there probably wasn't any difference! Now I want a blue one, too! :-) I remember she mentioned her husband liked hers so much he got one himself. :-). By the way, I got mine from HSN and it was on Easy Pay, so that might be an option, too.

I'm confused by the idea of Clarisonic brushes harboring bacteria. I use a cleanser on the brush while using the Clarisonic. Wouldn't that same "cleanser" fight against any bacteria living on the brush???
