Foreo Luna clone for $20 - Page 17

Another newbie to DH Gate here. I have the full size blue Foreo Luna for combo skin and love it. I would like to buy one of these "bargain ones"----the full size pink---for a friend's birthday. I do not have a throw away credit card and am apprehensive about that part. Also, I have no clue about what seller to use, except by picking the cheapest with best feedback. My main concern is the credit card part. Can't decide if that worry is worth the SUPER GREAT PRICE. Any thoughts from those who have gotten theirs would be appreciated.

I have purchased six of the minis from three different sellers. I have not purchased a full-size but I am interested in adding one of those to my collection. Maybe someone else can give us the name of the seller they used for a full-size. I understand the worry about using a credit card. My credit card is through Bank of America and they have a service called safe shopper. It is very easy to set up and allows me to use a temporary credit card number. I use it when purchasing from DH gate and also for magazine subscriptions. I specify the maximum dollar amount that can be used. for any subscription that will be automatically renewed and very difficult to stop this is a great option. I would assume that most banks have something similar.

There's quite a bit of information on this thread about purchase from the DHGate site so please skim it over, and I think your questions will be answered.

The site is secure so I think you'll see that the "throw away" credit card was only used initially by the OP. She's made several purchases since with no problem. There are several sellers that are named throughout the thread that have been used with success. As long as you look at the seller's ratings, read their descriptions carefully, and look at the pictures supplied in the listings, you should be fine. Both the full size and mini are available for purchase there.

The DHGate site has policies in place to protect the buyers much like the bay. My experience was very smooth/positive, and I have a mini that I am loving. Good luck with your selections, and please let us hear back about your experiences. ${#emotions_dlg.thumbup}$

I just had to see for myself, bought a Mini from Waitingyou for $17.50. I received the item. Like others, transaction was smooth and I also used a virtual account number. I received the same item as in the pictures used by Waitingyou, which is great. The pictures and the item received are most definitely a knockoff Foreo Mini. It's a pretty good fake and cheap.

I have a real mini I bought at Sephora. The Turquoise Blue on the real is more green, the fake more blue, very different. The silicone touch points are different on the real and the fake. The fake Foreo imprint on the device is different then on the real. The font & R in Foreo on the fake are noticeably different from the real, dead giveaway. And there is no black mini, actually all the colors are off.

The package looks to be real. But it's not like you can submit a warranty for a fake and expect Foreo to honor.

F1wild & gokat - I'm curious why are you so sure you have an original? F1wild, you wrote in post #152 - "I'm not sure why you and a few others are insisting these are all knockoffs. Maybe some are, but mine is an original, not a knockoff...and I paid $17.50."

Another report from a DH Gate purchase: I ordered the pink Foreo Luna for sensitive/normal skin (full size) from seller Groupondeal on January 8th for $21.61. I received it today---in just about three weeks----and it certainly looks very very similar to my blue full size Foreo (which I really enjoy). I see a couple minor differences---the Foreo imprint and plus and minus signs are fainter on the DH Gate one----the little gray bag on the DH Gate is plain (no design), the bag for my blue Foreo is also gray, but has a little print---the authenticity card in the new package is bigger. The item and packaging look the same and the new one came charged and working. I am pleased so far. It's a birthday gift for a friend. I am waiting for a purple mini from waitingforyou. I used my regular credit card and did incur a $1.14 "foreign transaction fee". I see no warranty card.

Will be interested to continue hearing updates. I wouldn't have ordered or known of this if it weren't for this board. Thanks OP and everyone.

I'm late to the party. I just orderd mine today form DHgate. I did not realize you could select a color, I was not given that option. So I hope I get a pink one. I will post back upon receipt.

If anyone using this item has tips and tricks please share.

I purchased my Mini on Ebay, from a seller in Florida, $42.99 free ship. Its the original Luna mini! I thought that was a good price, it's $139 on Sephora and $99 at HSN. HOT PINK!

Good to hear. There is no doubt what you bought was also a knockoff, but some are pretty close. And it clearly does fool some people. The warranty cards are just to give the illusion, people can't possibly want to register a fake? They are so cheap, even if they last 6 mos, that's good. I hope your friend enjoys her gift. Are you planning to tell her it's a knockoff? They charge them to make sure they work. I'm a bit surprised the cloning factories can't match the colors to be virtually identical to the real.

QVC1234 - if it hasn't shipped, email the seller and let them know which color you want.

Thanks gokat & F1wild/F1wilder - for testing out the seller Waitingyou, that you and some of us used. But they are indeed fake Foreo mini. Thanks Blubird - for being the initial tester.
