Foreo Luna Dupes - continued

Would like additional info please.

I know several of you purchased this from either TJ Maxx or Marshall's.

The one I saw at TJ Maxx is $9.99. The one at Marshall's is $12.99 and inlcudes 2 pieces.

These are called "skin massagers". Is that right?

Do you have the brand names ( I forgot them) and how are you liking them.

Thanks!

@seehorse    I'm not sure what they're called at TJ's or Marshalls, but if you look on Amazon, they usually come up under "silicone cleansing brush".  Whichever way you decide to go, make sure it says the unit is rechargable.  I thought I was getting a deal on one from Hautelook last fall (think the brand might have been Swissco) and it turned out to be a battery operated thing.  I pitched it.

Thanks JLF!

One of them was battery operated (can't remember the other). Maybe why they're so cheap!

My TJ Maxx and Marshall's are in the same shopping center so no biggie to check them both out.

Glad you told me about the battery.

I love my dupe from Amazon! But, I might have to order a new one when (if) it needs to be recharged. I have not charged mine once, not even when I first got it about a year ago. I have no idea where I stuck the charging cord!

I can't imagine them being called skin massagers since they cleanse the skin but I suppose anything is possible. Just read the description and how to use it to be sure it is what you want.

One brand of a Foreo silicone face brush knock off that I've seen at Winners in Canada is Measurable Difference.

Winners is owned by TJX the parent company of T.J. Maxx and Marshall's. Maybe do a google search to find images.

(The Measureable Difference website has a security certificate problem according to my browser so I didn't visit it. It's probably why images from that website won't post either.)

Re: Foreo Luna Dupes - continued

I bought 2 Foreo's from Amazon over a year ago.  I used one for over a year without needing a charge.   It recently lost its charge.  I can't remember where I put the charger.  LOL.  Luckily I remembered where I put the second unit and used that charger.  I paid around $16 per unit. They have FOREO printed on the face of the unit (at the bottom).

I picked up 2 look-alike units (maybe from Hautelook) and after they arrived, I discovered they were not rechargeable.  I still have them but haven't used them so I don't know how fast you would go thru batteries.

I do like my Foreo.  I have a Clarisonic 3 and Mia 2 which I use occasionally.  I'm not sure if any of them are making a difference but I am hopeful!

I have a Foreo Mini knockoff that I purchased from DH Gate (China)  a year and a half ago for approx. $14, @seehorse.  It looks exactly like the Foreo Mini turquoise model with all the Foreo markings, etc.  The only difference is it's not warrantied.  Prices have dropped even lower since then. They're referred to as a "facial cleansing device".  I can see where you'd get "massage" though as they do that as well.  I love mine and use it not only for cleansing but also to infuse skincare.  The charge on mine is very long-lasting...over 4 months with daily use.  They become almost addicting IMO...so relaxing I sometimes don't want to finish my cleansing routine!Woman Wink  No more brush cleansing here.  Mine has a small usb charger so it's taped inside my vanity drawer along the side so I can see it.
