Tucsongal2, I also do the half and half lips a lot.  I compare same shades between two different lines, and similar colors to see which lasts the longest.  I also occasionally wear lipstick to bed to see if it will last overnight.  Most don't, so I guess it is true you eat a few pounds of lipstick during your life.  My current favorite for long wear without being ridiculous is Mauvelous Twin Set Collagen Boost Lipstick and Wet Lips Gloss from Skinn.  I am totally over lip gloss and rarely use it anymore.

Ulta just sent me yesterday in the US Mail a sample of 24 of the new Vice Urban Decay lipsticks, so I will have loads of fun trying them out.
