For the Make up Mavens

Ok -- i am confused... I keep seeing that make up 6 months old should generally be tossed. I have a Geller set that includes a blush (which I use every day-- a bronzer and a highlighter-- I have used the blush everyday for over a year and it hardly looks like I touched it.. the other two I have never used...

Here are the questions:

Do i have to throw the Blush out ?

When am i suppose to use the other things? At the same time

Use all 3 together? Isn't that a lot of makeup?

I would appreciate any suggestions... and information
