Not only are your hair color and cut lovely, you are! Your skin is lovely- good genes, little sun throughout life- any particular skincare and makeup you're using?

@skittles2  Thank you so very much for your compliment! And yes, good genes had something to do with it as both my parents had very good skin. I was blessed to have a Mom who worked at a pharmacy for nearly 50 years, and taught my sister and I about good skincare. She said to always take off all makeup before going to bed, and always wear sunscreen when going out (and yes, definitely a little sun)!

In the AM, I use a probiotic soap by Dr. Ohhirra, then Skinceuticals Serum 10AOX (a 10% Vitamin C serum), followed by It Cosmetics Confidence in a Gel Lotion. These are all applied on my face, neck and upper chest. I also use Murad Eye cream, then Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30 on my face. Also a little Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue concealer. Lastly, Sun Bum sunblock on my neck and upper chest.

For the PM, I use the Dr. Ohhirra soap and the Murad eye cream. Twice a week (Monday and Friday) I apply Tretinoin 0.05% cream as prescribed by my dermatologist. This is the medium strength cream, and I've been using this for five years. It's applied on my face and neck. On the days I use Tretinoin, I do not use a moisturizer. However, on the other days I use Villa Floriani Chamomile night cream on my face, neck and upper chest.

Thanks so much for asking about my skincare routine and I hope it's of help to you as well as others.  By the way, I love your furbabies quote!

I have never colored my hair a day in my life and am going gray.  I refuse to be a slave to the bottle.

I am almost 75 and I've embraced my gray hair! Nothing makes a person look older than hair with grey roots growing in with dyed hair. And I find it hard to believe that an older person that dyes their hair has healthy looking hair.

Re: For Those Ladies Choosing To Go Gray...

I had a haircut appt yesterday and asked my hairdresser how gray am I.  It's been probably 3 months since I've colored my hair.  She said 0% in the back and maybe 25% on top.  As soon as I feel like I can do it, I'll be coloring it again.  Just driving the last two days have hurt my chest and shoulders.

@Trinity11 @San Antonio Gal With Vicki Lawrence, I think it was more the "style" of the gray hair, the way the character dressed, acted, even held her mouth (always kind of "pursed") than the gray color that made her appear old.

Makeup is used to age people on TV and movies. Not hair color.

For me it's more strange, I would never see myself in gray.
