For Boomers with thinning hair!

[ Edited ]

I've tried the "usual suspects" on Shop-TV , but think I found

a product line on Amazon that's fantastic!

(Disclaimer: I'm Just Another Customer)

It's called BOLDIFY.

I first tried their powder-hair thickener (similar to Tru-Hair), and I liked

that the shaker top has small holes and the product itself is very "fine".

Their volumizing powder "spray" has a pin-point  nozzle to target

specific areas and it does add volume!

The best part: this company has STELLAR Customer Service support.

The first color I ordered was too light, and as soon as I contacted them

they shipped out a different shade at no charge...and told me to

"keep the change".  (keep the original order).

Then she followed up with an email to ask if the shade was correct.

To top that off, I asked about a container with a brush on top, and she responded that

they were considering adding that to their line.

Plus there's a sticker on each container which entitles you to a Free product.

(I'm sure it's 1 per customer..I didn't use it, since I already was given a "free" exchange).

Anywsy, I'm just *spreading the love* and hoping maybe some day a Shop-TV

channel will add them to their line-up.

For as many products offered, one would think an additional line devoted to thinning hair would be an asset..

(not Vitamins or products w /drugs)..

Go take a peek...post back what you think!

@JumpTheRope    I have used Boldify™ for a couple years.   It's also good for covering root growth.    Comes in lots of colors, too.

Thanks!  I'm going to buy this as soon as the dark or medium brown is available.  I've been using Caboki brand and I like it but it's double the price.

Re: For Boomers with thinning hair!

Thanks for posting. I want it for gray hair since I have a thinning spot in the back.  It’s fun aging.

@JumpTheRope

Thank you for sharing!

I have been using Toppik since it was on QVC.  I stocked up and still have a lot left...but will need a new brand eventually.

It sounds similar...you shake it on and little fibres fill in?

I am horrendously grey and by the 2nd week after a color, I need to use it already to dull the whites and fill in the sparse areas that are very noticeable once the grey comes in.

I will check it out, Thanks!

Re: For Boomers with thinning hair!

Here is a huge downside to BOLDIFY for me, it contains DMDM Hydantoin, which i would not put on my scalp, it comes from formaldehyde.
Toppik has switched to Phenoxethanol, which I much appreciate, and Toppik is also made from Keratin. Perhaps a call to BOLDIFY's great CS to suggest dumping the DMDM is in order.

That's what I was afraid of.  Thank you Shelbelle for addressing my concerns.

I sent email to Boldify CS regarding the DMDM.
