My heels get very dry and scaly, can anyone recommend a good exfoliator that you can rub on that will remove the dead skin?   TIA.

When used after every bath/ shower, Footlogix mousse is fabulous! A small amount goes a long way. I buy it on amz or the bay.

@SoCal Bred   I recommend Baby Foot Mask. My whole foot peeled and was as soft as, well as a baby's foot. To purchase: babyfoot dot com.

Demora Foot Peel Mask on A.

After you get the rough skin off, little 1/2 socks w/ lotion. I have to that every night since I walk barefoot on hardwood floors. 😂

Yes ,baby foot works,BUT ,does not keep feet long term  soft, i use tools to exfloaite ,the one they sell on here, with nail file included is good,also SilleMee recommened the alpha lotion,it has really helped my very dry feet.

Here's what I do...

First I remove the rough, dry skin with Earth Therapeutics Foot File (that's a top-rated diamond file). Use it on dry feet, before bathing and before applying creams.

Then I use Alpha Skin Care's Glycolic Acid Body Lotion regularly to keep my feet soft.

@goldensrbest

Alpha use to make a foot cream with the same amount of 12% glycolic acid. It was discontinued a few years ago. It was nearly identical to the body lotion, maybe slightly thicker, and it was really good stuff. I think it got discontinued b/c the lotion is just as good to use on my feet. It really does work well.

Discontinued!

A simple pumice stone/brush combo used regularly when your skin is soft, in the shower or bath, is the most inexpensive and effective thing you can use.  You don't need expensive exfoliants, mousses or creams.  I use my stone once a week and never have a problem.

Heel to Toe Peppermint Sloughing Foot Lotion.  This is what she used back when I used to get pedicures.  It is from Sally's.  I long for the day I can go back to the nail salon just to get a pedicure.
