Try one of J. R. Liggett's Shampoo Bars. I've tried several and my favorite is Jojoba & Peppermint. Because it's solid there's no worry about getting it through security and leaves more room in your plastic bag for something else.

I highly recommend 3 ounce GoToobs for traveling with WEN. I've bought them from Amazon and at Target. The opening is wide for easy filling, the bottle is easily squeezed to get every bit out, and they do not leak at all.

Re: Flying....is this the only way?

Just get the Wen packets. I think they're even in 613. I have not been traveling lately but I believe now-a-days they x-ray everything and if they see a bottle they may take it from you or not allow you on the plane. I mean, look at our world. That's why Chaz made the packets. They will go through no problem and even then who knows? I would check with someone that works in travel. I would go to Chaz's site and email them and they can really direct you unless you want to use something other than Wen. Bottom line, I would not bring anything in the shape of a bottle. I used to work for a place that had high security and anything shaped like a bottle was scrutinized. I had to drink it in front of them if it was water but sometimes would not let me pass and I worked there. Our world is too volatile, unfortunately. You know you're okay but they don't. I think it's a shame that people are in anticipation of a lovely time somewhere and they have to go through being pulled apart when flying but like people say, it is what it is. Anyway, I wish you a great time. Safe trip.

I don't travel often but if I did travel I probably would just buy the travel packettes. Although, using travel containers is also a good idea.
