Well, I have loved this look on others....but the reds I have tried are either to bright, thick and opaque/matte or feather too much for me to wear with confidence. I am 56....and aware of lip lines and how lipstick can bleed so I avoid deep shades. For two days I have worn Revlon Lip Butter in Candy Apple...and LOVE it. It is bright warmer red on me....shiny....moist and does not bleed. I do a more neutral eye look with it since it's pretty striking. I wear glasses too so I am just sharing with other women who want to try this but have been intimidated like me. The best thing is that it acts like a stain and keeps my lips colored for hours even with coffee and snacking. Don't even own a lip liner so....it is just straight from the tube. It was a big step for me....finding the right lipstick was the key. Just sharing with my friends.....give it a try if you lack lip courage like me!
