1. I have a bump on my finger which I think may be caused from typing all the time. I am not sure who to contact.  Do I call my regular Dr?  I don't want to go from one dr to another.  Any ideas my beauties?

I would go directly to my derm.  They know what each weirdness is, have names and solutions for all.

I'd call your regular doc (primary care physician) to get a referral to a hand specialist. I have been through a couple of issues with my hands and fingers, including ganglion cysts, mallet finger, and swan neck, and the hand specialist is to whom I was referred (every time).

I agree, but I would add that it might help expedite things to have her primary care physician actually take a look at it first. That's what I did for a problem with my right-hand pinky. It was not dermatological in nature. He referred me to an orthopedic doctor.

Should add that I first did research online. BIG MISTAKE. I went to the specialist positive that I knew what it was. He very kindly told me that I was incorrect. :-)
