Thank you so much.  You're sweet for saying such lovely words!  It puts a smile on my face Smiling face with smiling eyes and three hearts Large size of yellow emoji smile 15577226 Vector Art at Vecteezy

I can only imagine how difficult it would be to downsize after 40 years Smiley Surprised  What is your plan for all the furniture in storage?  We've been in our home for 42 years.  We were building it while I was pregnant.  I came home with a new baby to a new house Smiley Happy.  We doubled the size of it in 2007.  I can not imagine ever having to leave here Smiley Sad  I wouldn't mind relocating but I'd have to be able to take my home and barn with me (g)

I just did a Google image search for condos Narragansett Bay.  You live in a gorgeous area!!!  Looks like a beautiful place to live and visit.  Storybook images.

By the Fireplace...are you sure?  You said you like clean scents.  This is deep and sultry and sweet.  I finished my first bottle and just last week unboxed my backup.

"Smoke" is a common aroma in warm and spicy and roasted scents.  As I said (in case you missed it) the "smoke" is not heavy.  Not everyone describes it as "straight up roasted marshmallows over a campfire".  Commodity Velvet is another one of my favorites I discovered in 2019.  It also has a smoky aroma but doesn't mention that in the description.  I would really appreciate it if you could refrain from questioning what I like.  I would never do that to you or anyone else.  You know good and well that no one (well, maybe a man) wants to smell like a wood burning fire.  But that note can accompany other notes and make a beautiful fragrance.

Commodity Velvet

Scent Type: Woody Spices

Key Notes: Roasted Almonds, Rose, and Amber

Fragrance Description: Mysterious and elegant, this fragrance evokes the pure indulgence of a soft texture meeting bare skin. Its woody, ambery blend is infused with roasted almond, rose, and black amber.

Well, sorry you took it the wrong way. I just thought it was supposed to sound humorous, not insulting. But actually I took your description wrong. I LOVE the smoky aroma you meant to describe and I did miss  the one  where you described it. The other side of the coin is, why people want to smell like food. They are out there. But, to each her own.

I was finally able to find Replica's Under the Stars perfume.  I've been waiting on Sephora since they sell other scents from that line but they still don't have it.  It dawned on me to check Nordstrom and they had it! Smiley Happy

@monicakm  - These all sound so nice.  Wish I could smell them....It's this time of year when I miss having a sense of smell the most.

I feel so sad for you.  Fragrance is so much a part of my life.  I don't know how I'd cope without it.  Mom lost her sense of smell back in the 80s after a really bad sinus infection.  It took me a good while to get mine back after covid and it's not what it used to be.  Example:  I've always HATED the smell of Old Spice.  So much so that I used to ask DH to put it on after he kissed me goodbye in the morning.  He wears other scents too and one morning I told him how good he smelled and asked what he was wearing.  It was Old Spice Smiley Surprised  I didn't believe him so I got up and smelled the bottle.  Yep, that nasty stuff now smells good to my nose lol  Makes me wonder what else my convoluted nose thinks smells good but it really doesn't.

Since I've never had a sense of smell, at least I don't know what I'm missing.  Think that would be awful.  Most of the time I don't give not having a sense of smell a thought so it's not a big deal.

I don't actually have it yet.  I've been looking and waiting for MONTHS.  It will be here on Monday.  I was really hoping Sephora would have it by the time the sale started so I could get it for 20% off.  They have all the other Replica fragrances.
