Fillers?????

Ok, I'm new to some cosmetics procedures.....(good grief who could keep up?) but what exactly are "fillers" as referenced in the discussions on Suzanne Somers. Would this work under my eyes, where all fat/tissue is gone, and the skin is just sunken to the orbital bone.....or so that's the way I see it anyway.
