Two things: Some matte eye shadows look dull and dusty, others that have a rich saturation of color go on looking almost creamy...very pretty. Glitter eye shadows are a definite "NO" for any women over 50, they look tawdry. I like a tiny bit of shimmer under my brow bone and right in the center of my lid.

Do most of you feel that the only way a woman can get a "good look" with her eye shadow is to go with BB, Nars, Laura Mercier and other high end brands? I just can't spend what many of those brands cost for a SINGLE pan of eye shadow.

Quinny, take a look at Physician's Formula.
