Hi friends! I'm on the hunt for a powder brush for a friend. What is your favorite?

IT cosmetics has the best brushes. I'd look there first.....maybe at a local Ulta store.

@Franklinbell

Believe it or not, I'm a fan of Real Techniques brushes and even some Elf brushes.

@Franklinbell  I'm a powder brush junkie and have way too many, but out of all the different ones I have, my favorite is a Elf Flat top powder brush. It's in the black

brush series .Because it's flat across the top, powder sets better into your skin

rather than "sitting on top" of it. Bobbi Brown brushes are also excellent . A little

pricey but they last forever

@Franklinbell   Hello. I only powder my around my nose, a bit where my glasses hit so they don't slide and a bit on my chin, so I retired my large fluffy powder brushes. I now use a longer, small eye shear/crease type of fluffy brush to get to those targeted areas. Mine is Bobbi Brown (shocker) and I also have one from Trish McEvoy. Most brush lines have one like this.

@Franklinbell   It's not so much the line of brushes, but the shape of brush that suits your needs.

A larger fluffy brush that's not too dense is what most women use if they powder all over.

@Franklinbell IT & Real Techniques both do great face brushes.

I have a powder brush from each that are my favorites, but I have had them for years.

Maybe they came in sets as I don't see the exact brushes.

But, check them. I think you should find something you like.

@Franklinbell   I've always liked nice brushes,  but the ones from BK Beauty are a game changer.  They are so well made and truly magnificent.   I'm hooked!

For powder foundations (I mostly use Laura Geller's Balance & Brighten), I like a large, dense flat top brush--bought one from IT Cosmetics years ago and it's still going strong! The flat-top works the powder into my skin better.

For powder blush, a nice fluffy medium-size kabuki works best for me. I find it easier to control placement and amount.

I don't use setting powder anymore, but a large fluffy kabuki is what I used to use for that.
